The London Renaissance Basketball Foundation is a newly formed charity that aims to use basketball as a tool to teach young Londoners regardless of their background valuable life skills that will help them to become more rounded individuals.

Basketball is the world's fastest growing sport with over 400 million participants, it is estimated 250,000 of these are in the England. At London Renaissance Basketball Foundation, we believe that London has the potential to be globally recognized as a hotbed for basketball and we intend to make a significant contribution to it realizing this potential.

Our innovative programmes will have three central goals:

• To use sport to pass on crucial life skills. Sport is a medium common to everyone; The London Rens will use basketball to teach important lessons, ones that will make a difference in the short and long term.

• To inspire and motivate children in their academic pursuits. To make learning fun, inclusive and interactive.
  

• To improve their basketball skills, focusing upon both mental and physical aspects. To allow children to make the most out of their talent, while developing a love for the game of basketball.
